About the client -

We are a small tiling company with over 20 years experience in both domestic and commercial floor and wall tiling. Over the years we have worked with many domestic customers who have enabled us to gain experience and have given us a better understanding of our customer requirements.

The client specified the site to showcase his work from over the UK.

The site was created using a limited colour palette, the decision was made to use subtle colours to let the clients work leap off the page.

Colours were used to separate the main page header from the main content, a shade of black on which the main logo was placed (the logo provided by the client) had to be manipulated in Photoshop.

Underneath the main content was placed.

4 images in total a larger subject against 3 smaller subjects - this created a pleasant effect on the page also displaying the quality of work of the client and also serving as a visual reminder of the clients tiling abilities, having the images looked tiled reinforced the clients branding.

Underneath this the client then provided text a mission statement of what the client does and his business ethics. All of which brought together the sites look and feel.

on the following pages a gallery was created displaying the clients work, the use of an on the fly image creator was added to allow the images not only to pop out of the page again creating a pleasing effect on the eye but also adding a new dynamic feel to the sites, subdued look.

After which a contact us page was created and linked to the clients specially created email that complimented his domain name.
